Begin searching for scholarship opportunitie online. Google search "art scholarships Washington state" and see what you can find. Many require a body of work, so start developing one now! Good luck!
I have been teaching for almost ten years now, after graduating from Central Washington University. I have taught a wide variety of classes, from creative writing, speech and world literature, to mixed media, printmaking and ceramics.
I now live and teach in my home town of Sequim, WA.
